Indigo Children

Many of our children are considered to be "Indigos". What does this mean? Well, apparently for those who can "see" energy fields, these children have a beautiful deep blue color in their fields. After many years of studying the characteristics of these children there seems to be some commonalities in that they are "wise souls", fairly self-sufficient, intelligent, intuitive, creative and full of energy. At the same time, an Indigo child might be unhappy, quite sensitive, and anxious, do poorly at school, be overly aggressive or withdrawn at play, act out and/or have trouble getting along at home or school. Very often these children are labeled ADD or ADHD and often medicated to hopefully ease their discomfort and get them to become easier to manage. It is becoming a widely accepted belief among those who study Indigo children that these children hold a blueprint, if you will, of a transformed world and that they become quite pained from the dissonance they feel between the vision they hold on a deep level and the imperfect world they see and experience. This pain is an energetic discord that has these children out of balance and they become difficult to manage. THERE ARE ADULT INDIGOS TOO!!

Check as many as apply:

1) Does your child expect to be treated as an equal instead of a child?
2) I your child easily emotionally triggered?
3) Does your child have difficulty with discipline and authority?
4) Does your child like to be given choices and have an uncanny ability to negotiate?
5) Is your child easily bored with repetition and enjoys new and creative activities?
6) Does your child have a gentle, sensitive spirit and caring heart?
7) Does your child have food or environmental sensitivities?
8) Does your child dislike being rushed or not seen to have a sense of time in a traditional way?
9) Does your child have an interest in spiritual things?
19) Does your child have a very creative imagination or appear to be a daydreamer?
11) Even though quite young, does your child appear to be an old soul or wise beyond their years?
12) Did your child come into the world with an attitude?
13) Does your child refuse to do certain things they are told to do?
14) Does your child have an independent spirit or appear to be a nonconformist?
15) Is homework a source of conflict in your home?
16) Does your child appear to have a short attention span while at other times have incredible focus?
17) Is your child particularly creative in areas of art, music, science and/or technology?
18) Does your child display intuition or knowledge of things that are unexplainable?
19) Did your child display an early ability and desire to lean and appear to be very intelligent in some areas?
20) Does your child talk to or about "imaginary" friends or see things that you cannot?
21) Does your child have a strong interest in the environment and other living creatures?
22) Does your child refuse to respond to parenting techniques that were used on you as a child?
23) Does your child have trouble getting to sleep or have night terrors?

If you answered yes to more than ten questions you are probably parenting an Indigo. If your score is above 15 you are almost definitely parenting an Indigo Child.
